La Cadiere Garden City: A Harmonious Oasis in the Heart of Tianfu New District

Creating a Unique Lifestyle in the International Resort Center

Working within the concrete masses of a modern city can be stressful. People long for a city that offers a beautiful environment, fashionable and livable spaces, abundant supporting facilities, and a high-quality life. La Cadiere Garden City aims to completely change the way we live. The manifesto of this program is to bring the city back to the people and spread the beauty of gardens to the world. By combining stylish designs and a variety of business formats, La Cadiere Garden City creates a differentiated lifestyle in the heart of Tianfu New District.

La Cadiere Garden City International Resort Center, located at the core of the Tianfu New District, covers a total planning area of 200 hectares. The program includes a 12-hectare lake park, an 11-hectare mountain park, and a 28-hectare green landscape area. The project showcases multiple modern landscaping themes, such as green garden style, modern holiday style, and rich overlapping landscape style. With over 200 different kinds of plants, the colorful garden constantly changes with the seasons, emphasizing the mental vacation living environment of the garden city.

The lakeside park within La Cadiere Garden City is a composition of various characteristic landscape elements, including a lakeside square, a dock, a stream area, a characteristic landscape bridge, a waterfall, a forest terrace, a rocky landscape, and a wetland area. The undulating surface forms a public open space surrounded by green areas, dividing the land space into protected landscape plazas of different sizes. The sculptural International Conference Center and three towers serve as visual focal points, with small private spaces scattered around. This landscape design creates an oasis of serene spaces, clearly delineating between private and public areas, and forming a harmonious environment.

The design of La Cadiere Garden City incorporates several technical specifications to ensure sustainability and efficiency. The use of ceramic plates on the facade promotes environmental protection and renewability. Three-layer laminated vacuum glass is employed for energy-saving and environmental purposes. The project also adopts water and heat circulation systems, utilizing water-saving sanitary ware and achieving high water-efficiency ratings.

Towers within La Cadiere Garden City rise up high from the ground, with a stone-clad facade that expresses verticality and an uplifting spirit. Living beside the park, the units not only enjoy extensive landscape views but also overlook the future tallest building in China, creating a unique living experience.

The project, which started in 2016 in Chengdu, is still under construction. Extensive research was conducted to balance the combination and connection of architectural and green spaces, creating a harmonious, inspiring, and meaningful urban environment where people can live, work, and entertain.

La Cadiere Garden City faced the challenge of integrating public spaces like hotels and international conference centers with the quality life and independent atmosphere of residential architecture. The careful consideration of layout and landscape design successfully combined these contrasting yet complementary spaces.

La Cadiere Garden City International Resort Center, with its 200 hectares of carefully planned green spaces, is a testament to the commitment to creating a harmonious and inspiring urban environment. This design has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design, showcasing its outstanding creativity and resourcefulness in incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology. La Cadiere Garden City truly contributes to improving the quality of life and making the world a better place.
